Lasso the Sun
The rider rides
With rage and passion in his heart
Over golden hills and across the plains
Across the great breath of land
Through realms and domains
Ready
To capture the sun
His untamed spirit and will
Has no time for menial things
There is a flame to catch and a force wield
As he gallops into the distance
Willing to conquer the day
Ready
To seize the sun
He chases the fire in the sky
Without wings or propellors he flies
Hi horse racing against time
Leaving a plume of smoke and dust...

Cruelty is your middle name
Most people duck reality. Reality is a river with a fierce current. You can try & resist but the current won’t stop. It moves faster & stronger then you ever will. People give in. People have to many vices that blur their vision. Most people accept what it is and never go against the mainstream. Galadriel's Choice
Silent hope beats in the heart,
mixed with the fear of failure,
for valiance is proven in the art
of preserving loyalty in the behaviour,
when tested amid seductive trials,
the domain of inner strength,
then weakness battles in denial,
seeking excuses, while one repents.
Galadriel stood by the well
that predicts doom of the races.
As if a mirror beyond mere spells,
true teller, not of fortune, but of faces.
She wanted to ignite within
the spark of higher immortality,
not innately, despite all sin,

GARDEN OF EXCUSES
Place a fence around the Garden of Excuses for habits
To ward off the strays: dogs, foxes and rabbits
That nibble on our fruited seeds and vegetation
Ruining the livestock of our generation.
Don’t allow the rabbits near the carrots
Nor the little foxes near the parrots!
Shun them away from the garden
‘Lest they ruin the garden without pardon!
Your betrayal has no pardon
As you allowed my heart to harden
I created a comfortable cradle
Never knowing it would be fatal!

One day I stopped hating
I ceased all meaningless activity
I completed the circle
I set my sights straight
Like an arrow I flew
I stopped acting
I got tired of playing with you
Violence & destruction became my reason for living
My out, my excuse

I just got tired of playing parlor games

Im heere two tel u that u ned too stay in skol
I am proof that if yo do't go to skool yo'l end up like me
i dropes out of the 1st grad becuse my teecher give me bad grades & homwork
I left home
I wind up on the stret
dope and alchol fuked my brain by 9
I can't wread & rite two wel
was shot n tha arm and legg thre times
Mum and pops disoned me
I found jeebus, satan and PAR one day
They puled me from the guter

Hand and Eye
My little guy has got the hand and eye
See a shape and put your hands in place
To receive what I’m delivering
As it’s coming in…depth perception kicks in
Two points on a map and intersect where you should be
He sees the ball and anticipates where
And what direction
The passing wind can have an effect
You have to put that into the equation
Split second decisions between hand and eye
When you hawk that ball and hunt it down
It ends up positive with clapping all around
Next thing you know you helped...

Some imagined reprieve, that I could handle with ease, to turn the war and win the battle in me…
Dear Lord,
I plead for more…From the ground floor to soar
High from a balcony, where ancient alchemy’s released
Confounding winds with a baffling breeze
I dabble in these
Within my rabble-rousing skin
My spirit calls for action and the grappling begins…
Through the lens of these esoteric factions
Lives the fractious…Not enamored...
