Journey to the stars
"stardust to stardust"
every atom in me
longs to return to thee;
o' majestic stars...
wish i could defy gravity,
soar high into infinity,
be sucked into blackhole-
your ever disintegrating soul
made from stardust-
each cell of my being
yearns to be in sync;
whirling within and within-
you in me and me in you,
a self-destructive waltz
to go on for eternity-
ever lost in mystery...
i'm rusting on earth,

a toast to no one
the call came today
you’re dead
finally
the universe took its sweet time
over and over
I’ve tried rebuildin
what you burned down
with that lighter fluid smile
over and over
I’ve tried to wash out
all of your venom
that pulses thru my veins
they’ll want me to weep
to forgive you
to speak of loss and motherly love
but what is there it mourn
when nothin I ever had has died?
the actress takes her final bow
no fuckin encore
those invisible strings
that you pulled so well ...

To Die Again
For those I hate
Fucking hell
Beneath the skin
An open wound
Thirsty for blood
Hunger for flesh
Scattered carnage
Wriggling torsos
Pungent, infested disease
Brain candy for dessert
Vomiting repugnance
To die again
Fucking hell
Beneath the skin
An open wound
Thirsty for blood
Hunger for flesh
Scattered carnage
Wriggling torsos
Pungent, infested disease
Brain candy for dessert
Vomiting repugnance

Keeps on ticking
Minutes and seconds are passing us by
My one wish is to stop the hands of an enemy we call time
Time will age
Time will heal
Time will drag
Time will kill
No one has any idea what will happen in the next second
But only time will tell
My one wish is to stop the hands of an enemy we call time
Time will age

Orgasm or Death
I curled my fingers around him and bowed as if praying. His large hands cupped my crown and warmed me. I looked up into his face. He was a strong man, an older than me, but his eyes looked young. I easily mounted him and began a familiar dance.
I grabbed his hands and held tightly. In my body there rose a tingling, like a pulsating vibrancy. Within moments, I felt energy begin pouring out of my head and a total collapsing…tumbling of time and space.
I fell into a dark pit but wasn’t alone. As if traveling through the history of my life, images of my younger self fell...

Life Carries On
I can't believe your lying there
Silent,
my tears can't cry
You left the life we shared
Endless days after you died
Stars glisten in the night
Please come back to me
I need a sign from you
I miss you, can't you see
One last look at you
As I think back to our lives
I touch your face
Where your spirit lies
They close the coffin
I can't accept your gone
I'll see you on the other side
Silence beckons me, life carries on
Silent,
my tears can't cry
You left the life we shared
Endless days after you died
Stars glisten in the night
Please come back to me

18 days, 20 hours... minutes
Ancient wraps whisper.
Time entombed in shadowed breath.
Eternity waits.

Eternity waits.

Chove sobre a marginal
O pó do teu olhar sobre as flores a murchar
a suprimir as verdades, no chão.
As mãos, as mentiras e as folhas alaranjadas.
Morte, morte, morte ao amor...
Depois, tudo desaparece na bruma.
Tua mordida, profundamente infligida
nas carnes das tuas costas.
Viva o amor, viva o amor, o amor está morto!
Cavaleiros sem destino, moínhos parados
ventos perdidos nos corredores da casa
e retratos de ninguém, sem nomes.
Bocas cheias de fome, abutres mortos.
Minha boca cheia da tua boca e
cabelos crus a...

Sunday Swan Song
It was the piano that finally made me cry.
I’ve been dispassionate
(to say the least)
about this closure,
knowing that eras end and life goes on –
impatient to rip off the bandage.
Perhaps even a little bitter
about all the years I tried to help
people
think
bigger
even though my faith never completely fit
inside their box.
I think I gave it my best.
I guess they did too –
nurturing me and my kids
through all kinds of storms,
(even when I wasn’t easy to love) ...

Grief Isn’t Always Complicated
I think I’ve been preparing for the inevitable
We all are
We talk about it with logic and reason
As if that will soften the emotional blow
I’ve been preparing poetry in my native tongue
So that she knows how much I appreciate her
How much we love her…
She once told me that after she lost her two-year-old
Back in 1950
She didn’t cry
Like some kind of numbness washed over her
That although she felt sorrow and sadness
Stoicism helped her manage
While still taking care of her newborn
We somewhat deduced ...

I miss you
I had a secret to share with you
How you would smile
And say
You silly
But you are not
The cold death took over you
And I talk to the wall.

And say
You silly
But you are not
The cold death took over you
And I talk to the wall.

Make Our Garden Bloom
whispers live in shadows deep
souls dwell promises to keep
wreaths of dried roses enchanted
hearts make our garden bloom
Stars sing out songs above
melodies I remember so well
dusts now mere echoes of love
distant though mine dwell
barren stark isolation
the garden once vibrant
colours and sights wonderful
is bare dead soil dry untended
make our garden bloom again
purple magenta red on green
season's turn let flowers dance
eternal make our garden bloom
don't fear night or sorrow's...
