Galaxy 500
Hey lady, are you going my way?
Hop in, there's nothing more to say
We'll find a spot underneath the moon
Sit back and we'll listen to some tunes
You'll experience the universe & stars
Plastic Jesus on the dash of my car
Jupiter, Neptune is waiting for you
I'll push the seat back for you to get a better view
We hit drive through the tail of the comet
I have a bag, in case you need to vomit
Whenever it feels right
Galaxy 500, faster then the speed of light
Hop in, there's nothing more to say

Little Red Corvette
He shot that dude like it was nothing
I never seen anything like it in my life
He pulled up to the red light
Got out of his car
He walked over to the Corvette and fired three shots into the drivers face
He then calmly returned to his car
He had the music up really loud
Some horrible pop music from today
Pure shit!
He just wasted that fucker!
Anyway,
The light turned green and he took off
So did everybody else
Except for the dead guy in the Little Red Corvette
Damn I miss Prince
I never seen anything like it in my life

Did something crawl up in him and died?
That is what his family thought while traveling in that shit smelling ride,
“Could it be those White Castle sliders or that burrito from Taco Bell
That is giving his ass cheeks pure hell,
“The windows did not come down because they were broke
And being immune to his own shit all the rest can do was choke,
“The air conditioner in the raggedy motherfucka did not function
Causing his wife to have flashbacks of the other night when they were fuckin,
“The room had to be aired out...

Depression is a car crash
Speeding down the road
Ignoring all the warning signs
I brake hard
The skid begins
I hit the pole
It's not a car that's crumpled
It's me
Seriously injured
Close to death
I survive but only just
Head doctors do their best
They hide the truth
Pretend they can return me
To my former self
Even they know
The skid marks are on my inside
Fade they will over time
But erased.....never
I'll never be that person again
It was time for a change anyway.

Just around the corner
The car crash
The bodies inside making silent history
The girl
Her head smashed into the steering wheel
Her beautiful face
Her skull
Her forehead caved in and purple
The woman next to her
Her body
Her gentle eyes filled with glass
Her unborn child, twisted inside, neck broken, back broken, small mouth open, full of black congealed blood
The five year old boy in the back seat
Neck broken, legs wrapped around each other, broken several times
His little arms wrapped around himself as if he was freezing

People are like oil filters,
after 5,000 miles or 6 months,
you should replace your lover
Over time people build up,
harmful, abrasive, sludgy bits,
that will find their way into your heart
If not replaced as instructed, those toxic pollutants may kill you.

rock music, burning oil, and wind
On a dark and lonely highway
destination unknown
all alone
if not for images
haunting the open road
thoughts bouncing off asphalt
faster than this speeding machine
High beams challenging
the painted white line
with a battle cry of reverberating power

A sight I will never forget
A UPS truck ran into a telephone pole on the corner near my home
I was 10
Skinny freaked out, wild eyed and full of shit
The driver's head went through the windshield
Exploded on the telephone pole
Never occurred to me
The beauty of that scene
Blood, brains and all that milk
Everything ran down to the gutter
I ran down the hill observing the greying milk snake
My parents on the other hand were quite annoyed
The package they were expecting was destroyed!
I was 10

Buy an Ark
Transport just my family
Ark is big enough but you aren’t coming
Ark on Gravel, big wheels, better watch out
Ark just mowed down 7 little kids I couldn’t see
But I’m on the Ark I feel like a Viking King

Disconnected
Disconnected but searching for something
You’re in the car electric driving home not a tesla
Hear the phone look down but its almost empty
Lift the console look for my plug i cant find it
In a car not made of combustion im searching
Find the cord the lifeline we all the sudden seem to need
Plug it in my cars wheels slow down im coasting
Seems technology isn’t all its made to be so i
Lift the handle release the latch but the doors lock
Screaming down the Autobahn...
