Long Poems About Boredom
#boredom
Long poems about boredom. 300 words or more, most recently published poems first.
Early Morning Blues
Thursday. 8:11 AM
2 hours into my day at work.
What a drag
I’m surrounded by these bland grey walls that are about 6 ft high
There dusty and in need of cleaning
Fucking gross
Are they to protect me from the outsiders?
Are they to protect others from me?
Are they listening to my thoughts or when I speak?
Probably
All I know is that my creativity is being sucked away from this isolated location
It’s horrible
In addition, knowing that the one poetry website I could rely on is disappearing in a few weeks
I don't...

it's not Halloween but this ghost costume still fits
Don't look at me
don't talk to me
I have nothing, NOTHING
to say
I'm a head full of empty air
no, NO
I'm worse that that
I'm a head full of stagnant air
empty at least has potential
but stagnant is where
brainwaves go to die
I think all my important brainwaves have died
I tried to read an essay
on the hibernation cycle of mammals
I got half way through and gave up
because it turns out I really hate
the word "torpor"
though the silver lining of that
is that I now...

God's children

To a beautiful day
Let's not waste that day
By sleep in
If we sleep in we will
Not sleep at night
So we must enjoy this day
That our father gave to us
Here on earth
yes we are having the Summer
Here on earth
that our father create for us
With his holy hands
Also We took a look in the sky
And there was no sign of rain
We don't like the rain at all
Because when it is raining
There is lighting and thunder
The noise of lightning and thunder
Wake
us up when we are...

Bigotry does not equate to intelligence and never will!
By Stanley Collymore
Namibians who've languished quite
appallingly in absolute barbaric
servitude under Germany's
autocratic rule when this distinctly African
country, rather arbitrarily renamed then as

became quite the focal point for the 20th
Century's first genocidal Holocaust when

So-called English culture and its adverse consequences!
By Stanley Collymore
Quite recently not only the entirety
of the United Kingdom but the
world at large has actually
seen the salient aspects of what the lowlife
scum who irrefutably actually infest Britain
and, more so, simply distinctively England,

For the multiple millions of economically inactive Brits each day is a bank holiday!
By Stanley Collymore
By all means fulsomely celebrate
and proudly mark the victory of
England, if indeed there's one,
in the UEFA Football Finals as it's really
only to be obviously actually expected.
But, to award the entire country with a
rather impromptu bank holiday I think
not! Realistically it is a football game;
and yes a game of sport, distinctly by
quite highly paid participants, not the
crucial breakthrough or evidently the
equally essential discovery, of a long

Why sycophantically fawn over people you really don't know and never will, beats me!
By Stanley Collymore
Rather self-evidently, conscionable
concern is clearly needed for the
Windsor children being raised
with these distinctly poor values they're
being imbued with! Other than that too,
anyone with rather a minimum amount
of common sense, let alone any viable
Intelligence, can clearly see, simply by
looking at these unquestionably really
asinine and distinctly equally, fatuous
photos that this is irrefutably actually
a clearly truly basically dysfunctional
family unit, literally ensconced...

Pornography
He came from a family of strict Muslims

His father had a long beard and dressed traditionally

They were proud of the son who had done well

found himself in Munich to study the craft at

It's patently obvious to me that many Brits do urgently need a lobotomy!
By Stanley Collymore
The British monarchy has successfully exploited the mass media to convince the very gullible and easily manipulated members of the public that actually its own members are somehow special as well as quite superior to everyone else, when in reality these very unremarkable Windsor family members undoubtedly represent nothing of the sort, and quite clearly are in essence virtually nothing more than the obscene continuity really of gross inequality, unquestionably also unaccountable power, and distinctively biased influence entrenchedly linked to and intricately...

Please Parliament! Make St. George’s Day our English National Holiday!

When you are very fortunate to be
born a truly genuine Englishman
you've actually won the lottery
of life, proclaims a regular commenter
in the Daily Mail rather exultantly as it

and literally, egotistically utilizing the
pseudonym "Another Englishman" to

In Windowpanes
That each dull day and each despairing act
Builds up the crags from which the spirit leaps.'
- Phillip Larkin
I
Framed in grey the drab light
spills from white expanse;
reaches over the goings of many,
their eyes swimming in conformity,
heels pounding the firmament
to somewhere gone meandering,
catching a sideways smirk.
Feeling the midday confusion,
striding along with purpose,
the many among the few notice

Staged Deaths
Two friends once destined
Knowing their destiny
Searching for rest to end
Misery, enter tranquility
Anger raged in their worlds
And hatred was spread
Bloody silence left unheard
With thoughts by each of being dead
Timing matters, it's all a game
Waiting for seconds to pass
Tempted to end guilt and shame
The time is not here at last
Meeting new "friends" as strangers
To wreck more lives and feelings
Even innocence endangers
Your false...
