Drawing Circles
The puddles I engorge
Falsify my course of action
Cemented in the past they forge
A permanent reminder of my traction
Daily struggles I juggle
While acrobatically walking the line
Watching every step for trouble
I ensure I don’t recline
Careful of my existence
I keep track of every foot
Looking back to calculate the distance
As if it were residual output
Pushing through the crowd of eyes
I slowly begin to realize
The world is backward and full of lies
Napo, Napo 21 surely flies
March drums...

Cruise Control
What is going on?
I cannot write to save my life
My inspiration just died on someone’s lawn
Give it CPR I told my wife
The rhythm just marched right out of me
I’m brain dead but never comatose
Chilly in my bones
With a side of runny nose
Breaking glass houses with sticks and stones
The lights are on but nobody’s home
I’m netflix and chillin
Searchin for a villain
Counting a hundred million
Reasons not to get this penicillin
I’m under the weather, cruise control

Broken
I am chipped,
Worn around the edges
Energy stripped
Tarnished to my liking
My pen is dry
Poor and brittle
Soft, yet smooth
Lacking motivation
My thoughts are overweight
In dire need of exercise
On the fritz of exploding
My eyes fight to stay open
My subconscious is numb
Operating on fumes
Feeding its misery
I can’t shake this slump
Worn around the edges
Energy stripped
Tarnished to my liking
My pen is dry
Poor and brittle

Lazy Sunday
Long week
Brain aches
Too weak
Body shakes
Want sleep
Can’t think
Wanna weep
April ink
Eyes red
Paper blank
Mind dead
Trophy bank
Hunger pain
Writer’s block
Foggy rain
Static shock
Video games
Weather sucks
Mental plains
Counting ducks
Boredom wins
Circle doodles
Buying skins
Ramen noodles
Can’t cook
write/type
Close book
Need hype
Eyes hurt
Must play
Stay alert

Reality
Push away the covers
Struggle to rise
Rumors abound
Of your early demise
Focusing hard
Clickety clack
Like a train
Far off the beaten track
Light shines through
Eyes tearing too
Rush to wake
With little to do
Repitition comforts
Routine massages
Your fragile calm
While your body sabotages ...

A WILTING ROSE
I’ve never come to understand your rage
But, it seems to me you’re trapped in a cage
We all suffered the penalties under the same roof
We all bear our own scars that show the proof.
Some scars heal with the passing of time
But, yours remain in its original prime
Bitter and cold, you shut the world out
Every time you speak, you only shout
You built a wall and shut yourself in
Reasoning with you, no one can win.
I understand people build walls as a form of defense
But you are twenty-four hours in strict offense. ...

The Cult of the Two Feet
You stand now, knees trembling on the path of a precipice, the truth is, it is only your two feet who have ever kept you there, it is only your two feet that will ever keep you from slipping, stride on friend, keep your balance right…

the morning
The morning
Wake me up at six, I have an appointment
with a doctor at nine
At six, at six, at six, went into my head
I could not sleep
At four, I got up and drank a glass of wine
hoped this would lull my brain and get some
sleep
The wine worked well, I woke up at eight
It's too late for the doctor now. a need a bath
with that, she went back to bed
She slept to the forenoon and scolded me
once upon a time, she had been a stewardess
wore a nice uniform, I have the photo,
but she was not an actress and could not ...

Every hour
Every hour
I am thinking of you
My father
You blessed me
With a nice weather
It is finally sunny today
Thanks God Father
We had already lots of rainy days
During the summer
So father you cooled the earth already
For us
We must tell you that we love the sunny days
We are having a mild summer
I am thinking of you

Suicide Train
Glued to soft and fine grass,
View of the sky like fine glass,
Greenery whispering without doubt,
A plan to suck my soul out.
Days and nights passed,
Sun became cold and harsh,
Grass with hay’s complexion,
Treated He with bitter compassion.
Soft touch of the wind,
Swifting over my skin,
Grass became stickier,
Deceit became comfier.
Boredom knocked on my head,
Welcomed an old friend,
Bantered about the sun,
Fatigued with its sweet burn.
Excitement knocked on my nerves,
Welcomed with joy...

Not Happy
This morning on a site. we saw the hotel where
Hemingway stayed to write an important book
We wait to see which bed he slept in, also
it is an ad when a site feels the need to out-basing
such triviality
In the newspaper, that day was struck the sameness
how articles were written "We need to talk about"
and so on
We are told of a Ukraine war, not the reason only
that Russia wants the rest of Europe and other
blatant lies
Any critical observation about Israel is dismissed
out of hand as anti-Semitic,...
