Circle of Life
He would show his kid a video of him and the kid's mother fucking on the night the kid was conceived
He would then show him a video of the child's mother giving birth to him
Years later, the kid will show his kid a video of himself shooting his father in the head with a pistol

The Lady Blue (Another Chance)
Gary and I were heartbroken over losing the baby. But as luck would have it, I got pregnant again not too long afterwards. Everything was going great that is until the dreams returned. I ended up very depressed over them.
Please don't judge me. I think I have suffered enough for my past transgressions. I pray I am forgiven for I never meant to hurt anyone. I only wanted love like all of the rest. Perhaps, I shouldn't be forgiven as my happiness was bought at the expense of another women's pain.
I began singing at The Lady Blue...

april songs: journey of life 6
april song 06—concupiscent
could the seed of every woman
save the seed of every man,
fate would fashion an in lieu plan
that the cosmos could not span.
for the seed of but one woman
could the serpent’s head make squash,
though the heel of this One True Man
felt a bruise—a mere wish-wash.
antecedent concupiscence
lusts the fountains of the mind,
as does consequent imprudence
leave all innocence behind.
but the vantage of the nations,
clothed with lowly righteousness,
is unmoved by mock oblations,...

april songs: journey of life 5
april song 05—infantile
thus the specimental blueprint
nurtured by umbilicus
comes to terms with awesome foot-sprint
whose Seed shall deliver us.
infantile—complete but helpless
—in the milk of human care.
shall He bloom blood-red and selfless,
with whose love none can compare?
is the crown of thorns too prickly
for the innocent of birth?
does the Cross bring death too quickly
to redeem a fallen earth?
could the seed of every woman
save the seed of every man,
fate would fashion an in lieu plan ...

april songs: journey of life 4
april song 04—foetal
offspring of a fallen father,
well might every child aspire
not of broken genes to gather
harvests of unspoilt desire.
post-coital foetal pleasures
nurse the womb of every mom
whose gestation days are measures
of the days of femme et homme.
through the dark, unfolding ages
of the journeyings of man,
comes the Ransom for sin’s wages—
liberty for everyone!

april song 03—embryonic
he cannot rescind the order
of his freewill compromise
who makes void the sovereign border
that restrains the worldly-wise.
embryonic ill is fatal
to the unborn innocent
who does not pursue postnatal
rectitude with bold intent.
well might he the father’s grapevine
nurture with its bitter ink,
or else walk hope’s trim and thin line,
though he teeters on the brink.

Birth #1
Eighteen summers back
I forged the silhouette
of a love bird
that chirped
with fledgling strength
Her lyrics and melody
fashioned a layered truth
from the language of stars
And wild mountain flocks
Etched their way through
the heat and pressure of clouds
turning the carbon rocks
into a pool of diamonds
For nine long moons I stretched
Into the shapes of limbs and wings
Fierce and graceful
a baby dragonette grew
deep within my belly
I beckoned the flocks
to...

Telluric
Willows in the wind
bringing ancestral voices...
We learn to listen,
we teach ourselves to be silent.
Birds sing the song of the ground,
a river of flames crosses the hearts.
The juice of life sprouting
in the fruits of the air.
The body submerges in the waters
of eternal universal return.
Me inside the forest
that is the forest inside me.
bringing ancestral voices...
We learn to listen,
we teach ourselves to be silent.

Long live the jellyfish
In the brine of forgotten ages,
Drift the jellyfish, translucent and eternal,
their bodies pulsing with borrowed light,
a dance of impermanence.
We mere mortals envy your secret pact,
to give up persecution for eternity,
and embrace the abyss of oblivion,
where memories dissolve like salt in water.
Let us grant them our coveted gift:
Immortality, wrapped in gelatinous grace,
while we, the fleeting sparks of existence,
dive headlong into the oblivious void.
For what is human life but a flash,
a phosphorescent...

Wild Mother
My roots grow deeper
Into soil I never intended to plant myself.
My dandelion seed settled
As a weed growing into a wish
Broken into pieces by a child
To begin the journey again.
Into soil I never intended to plant myself.
My dandelion seed settled
As a weed growing into a wish
Broken into pieces by a child
To begin the journey again.

Life Seen Through A Window
My window is a vision
a doorstep away
I gently gaze out,
see tomorrows & today
Across the street,
their young family resides
Man, woman, child
hiding their family inside
One day the woman
birthed a new baby boy
Expressions were clear,
completely filled, overjoyed
Weeks turned to months,
I've watched as he's grown
only made possible,
as I work now from home
Infant to toddler,
the little one now walks
windows were open
amazed how he talks
