Nature Moving
One only waxes poetic,
Recounting nature's perfect kinetics.
Uses only immaculate phrasing,
To emphasise how amazing,
The stems, heavy hips.
The dropping of honey drips,
From the honeycomb,
That it's swaying whips.
The bee, hovers over, with power.
But gentle, goes into her flower.
The plosion of pollen.
What remains, the wind devours.
The cyrsos that conceals
A mirage that is real.
In flutters, her wings are spread,
A sensuous reveal

there isn't an angel in Heaven who hasn't fallen

that scent she wore,
like jasmine
in full bloom,
i am a bee
in search
of her flower.

Java Intrigue
Making this coffee
It truly seems to be
Blessing wishes freely
To brew some for thee
Under the yon coconut tree
Dreaming by the azure sea —
Singing to the bonny bee’s
Beneath verdant canopies,
Buzzing flower to flower
Looking like lazy daisy heads lower’d
Heads not much like sunflowers
At all but, something sweeter,
Glistening nectars
Needed by nesters,
Baby bumbles and others
Otherwise known as bears —
Chugging java cups
Keeps them coming back up
Trees in mind’s eyes
To concoct more java
You...

death from above
Death from above 1953
My uncle
Was seaman
Died in Marseilles
A pig on a balcony
Fell on him.
Mother said
He died at sea
When a mine
Struck his ship.
A likely explanation
That served
His widow well
When telling her
husband was
a hero.

Let's Go Camping
Camping can be a lot
of fun but after the 2nd day
I was constantly wondering
what kind of a bug is gonna
bite me next and I kept
on praying as hard as I
could pray I hope another
Evil Bumble Bee
does not sting me
anything but that
of fun but after the 2nd day
I was constantly wondering

When A Bee, Sees Me!
How is that flower
Able to move
Does it have pollen
Secreted within its groove
It smells like honey
Or some kind of Mead
A very curious blossom
To bee, or not to bee, indeed!
Ah, a buttercup
Time for a jive
I'll load up my bags
And return to the hive
Anyone else seen that walking flower
Is it a Triffid or some such thing
Maybe a human will plant it
Wanna bee a bee without a sting...

A Taste Of Honey
My need
For mead
Will succeed
After ive peed,
Hasn't helped my poetry much though!

The Birds, And The Bees
One fine Summers day
A bird
And a bee
Had it away
This much puzzled
My childhood mind
As i could not imagine
Sex of this kind
Did the birds get stung
Or the bees get pecked
Did they float in the air
Whilst having sex?
Would the bees buzz
Or the birds go cheep
Or after have a cigarette
Or fall asleep?
Who was on top
Or underneath
Did they use a pill
Or a birdbee sheath?
And which was my mother
The bird, or the bee?
Shall remain for now
A mystery.... ...

the dolphin.
The Dolphin
He sat on the terrace thinking of his four children
their mother was a dolphin who lived in a pool behind the houses.
She begged me to set her free, I did and saw her swim away
jumping of joy
Her children were obese full of blubber, and had small arms and feet.
When we went on my boat fishing, they, when catching fish
ate them raw.
When old enough, my children joined their mother had settled
near the Azores, where the sea was mild.
I was on a ship passing the island when they swam alongside and waved.

Exequies for a Bee
(twenty-eight of 30 - Official DUP NaPo/GloPoWrimo 2020)
Found a Bee last night
on its last leg
of its short existence.
Got me thinking. . .
a lone(r) individual
now no longer
pollinating his
surroundings, unable
to serve his Queen,
accepts his fate &
waits for the gate
to open.
This Bee lied sideways
barely moving
on my bedroom floor.
i would have set outside
but i knew he would not
survive, so i tried
to make his upcoming
demise
as comfortable as ...

HOME OF THE SWARM
The darkened hollow
silently beckoned,
a wooded shelter
from the storm,
the ground was hard,
there was a buzzing,
at last he'd found the
Home of the Swarm.
It was by chance
he’d changed direction,
that night the stars
glistened so bright,
when he heard a
soft murmur tell,
at each fork to
go to the right.
It was in the morning
as the sun was waking,
he saw the branches
rising up so high,
above all the other
trees in the forest,
to touch the clouds
as they floated by. ...
