The morning
Wake me up at six, I have an appointment
with a doctor at nine
At six, at six, at six, went into my head
I could not sleep
At four, I got up and drank a glass of wine
hoped this would lull my brain and get some
sleep
The wine worked well, I woke up at eight
It's too late for the doctor now. a need a bath
with that, she went back to bed
She slept to the forenoon and scolded me
once upon a time, she had been a stewardess
wore a nice uniform, I have the photo,
but she was not an actress and could not ...

I say
hey Devil
please leave me alone
can’t you see I’m tired
of all this anxiety and constant doubt
maybe the world hates me
or maybe it’s all in my head
so what?
I’m different
I don’t need to hear you scream it
it echoes in my head
I can’t get a moments rest
this Christmas
doesn’t feel very marry
and I’m missing
my family and friends
especial the ones that have passed
the good ones leave early
yet the only one around here
