Schizophrenia (inspire by Dreezy)
All this pain I have inside I'm trying to manage it ,I think I'm going crazy what have
I become I don't know who I am anymore.
I'm missing me searching for
love but I don't trust no one
and I don't know who I can trust.
I think I'm going schizophrenia
I'm trying not to let my thoughts get the best of me but they are driving me deeper in this hole.
I am dreaming of a woman who will have the whole world in her hands but in the mirror all I see is myself.
I've been hurt by people never met me any good n I...

A WILTING ROSE
I’ve never come to understand your rage
But, it seems to me you’re trapped in a cage
We all suffered the penalties under the same roof
We all bear our own scars that show the proof.
Some scars heal with the passing of time
But, yours remain in its original prime
Bitter and cold, you shut the world out
Every time you speak, you only shout
You built a wall and shut yourself in
Reasoning with you, no one can win.
I understand people build walls as a form of defense
But you are twenty-four hours in strict offense. ...

Insecure
Witness me!
So that I may be forgotten
After the limelight has faded
And I have been fulfilled
Look upon me
For I have done great things
And I have proven to be a man
I am a man, right?
Gaze forth while I stand
I am the best of my father's sons
And I have realized his dreams
Yeah?
Indulge my misgivings, that's what I seek
Confirm to me that I'm not weak
Though I think it so, deep within
Take the time to raise my chin
So that I may be forgotten
After the limelight has faded
And I have been fulfilled
Look upon me
For I have done great things
And I have proven to be a man

Quick Question...
Why all the hate?
It was "I think he's cute", now "What's in it for me? " when going on a date
People are too busy to say three little words, but they have plenty of time when someone lays on cold slate
No more welcome mat at front door, now at end of driveway big iron gate
Why so much hate?
Husbands missing dinners every night, wives told their paranoid, they had to work late
Grown men preying on small children, using cute puppies as bait
People asking for help, people helping others, all their motives are fake

Head of Young Man in detail (second movement )

Listen here, Poetry, i want to tell you something,
i'm gonna be straight with you here
you may find it somewhat upsetting
but it is for real
okay here goes -
i have conspired
to pull you out from where you hide.
i have connived
to kill you in the dark.
i have connived
to unwrite your bones and refashion them. ...

Today's The Day
I get my jab
@ 9.10 am approx
To avoid pandemic pox
A vaccine in a needle
In my arm to stab
My only real fear
Is the taxi cab!

My goal
I have a few bricks, some sand some cement,
a bag of rags and a small hooky frame,
hammer and nails, bits of wood, a last, to mend
my old shoes, some other tools so I again,
can attempt with needle, thread, bits of wool,
to mould these strange things into a new whole,
when perched on my tiny writing stool
this is my reality, and, my goal.

Mobile Phone Madness
Mobile Phone Madness
It buzzes, it rings, it vibrates
It lights up every other minute
Its like the world simply cant wait
Like everyones bloody living in it!
Then a peep followed by another?
Its Amazon trying to get my attention
Gumtree too, are they Amazon's Brother?
Trying to sell shit to me like a pension.
Then the news reel will jingle with stories
Updates on whats happening outside
Its all despair, no glories
In a world that makes you want to hide.
Facebook, Ah! Facebook is the worst
It...

Silence of the student
A whistle and the carriage dims
bleeding power to the drive.
I’m inside buttoned to the neck
checking messages like the rest,
without glasses on predictive text
wondering what I might say next.
The city's concrete stalagmites
erode away to shadow shows,
bedrooms flicked on page curl corners
above the derelict spray can walls,
Gazza loves Shaz and Shaza wos ere,
primitive scrawl won station of the year
in 1974.
I watch each window and hope to glimpse
bare flesh or at least something less
mundane than a...
