the microscopic lines
grinding against each other.

I'm missing folk.
That have passed me bye.
Moved on, have left me.
Become no more.
Euphemisms for death.
Some one dear to me said recently.
Why are we sad & grieve.
We should celebrate them.
For being in our lives.
Easier said than done.
My studio is in a park.
One of, if not the best in the land.
Specimens trees from across the globe.
Standards, seedling & champions too.
Some in girth others in huge height.
Trees don't live as long as we think.
A monkey puzzle tree...
