Orgasmic Capitulation
Orgasmic Capitulation
Hannah opens, “Well you’ve got us both here. Lucky you.”
I reply, “I’m sorry for not following through on the jobs you got for me.”
Hannah explains “It hurts our reputation. When we get you hooked with an employer and you back out the business won’t work with us for other clients.”
Anita instructs, “She’s right John. If you want us to work with you, you have to follow through.”
Hannah accuses, “John is this a game for you? Are you enjoying the company of two beautiful women?” ...

Into Verse
The caret flashing on the screen
echoed my pulse.
My thoughts clamored in frenzy,
refusing to turn into verse.
echoed my pulse.
My thoughts clamored in frenzy,
refusing to turn into verse.

Writer's Block
I’m trying to think of something to write,
But the words aren’t coming to mind
A blank page is on the computer screen
The wireless keyboard is sitting idle
I guess I’m just not in the mood to write
The room is crammed with furniture
A noisy child is playing in the passage
Annoying mosquitoes are biting me
And I can’t concentrate in this heat
Something is blocking my thoughts
The refrigerator is humming in my ear
A cool drink should help me to relax
I do better writing when I’m depressed,
But I can hardly work in this...
But the words aren’t coming to mind
A blank page is on the computer screen
The wireless keyboard is sitting idle
I guess I’m just not in the mood to write
The room is crammed with furniture
A noisy child is playing in the passage
Annoying mosquitoes are biting me
And I can’t concentrate in this heat
Something is blocking my thoughts
The refrigerator is humming in my ear
A cool drink should help me to relax
I do better writing when I’m depressed,
But I can hardly work in this...

Seaside
I’ve found myself lately
Walking along the washed
And rewashed shore,
Where early morning bandits
Slip in and steal up
Unbroken shells
For the crooks at souvenir shops
To resell to a quaint family
From the Illinois farmland
Breathing in
Tobacco smoke;
I know it’s not
What’s gonna get me.
Been running through
A thousand unspent conversations,
Trying to rewrite
All my wrongs,
Wishing we still had a chance
To gaze in to
One another’s
Weary eyes
As our paths thin,
Dwindling down ...
Walking along the washed
And rewashed shore,
Where early morning bandits
Slip in and steal up
Unbroken shells
For the crooks at souvenir shops
To resell to a quaint family
From the Illinois farmland
Breathing in
Tobacco smoke;
I know it’s not

I Wrote Too Much
I wrote too much
Déjà vu
I spilled these words before
pointed out the facts
just for them to be ignored
collabed a few times
some friends became enemies
and some friends
became friends with enemies
and they wonder why
I have trust issues
speaking of which
I spoke about this before
oh goo goo girl
where did you go?
that was so many years ago
not that the story didn’t repeat
over and over
different girl same drama
yeah too much wasted time
if I had half a mind
I would of given it up ...

Dinner Blues
poems I write
reaching to be lofty and deep
pearls of wisdom
rolling out of alphabets
a satire maybe
a masterpiece
to be remembered
until distant time
a triumph a victory
a band on a parade
colourful display
but falling flat on second stanzas
the pain of it all
cutting sticks without knives
dull colours on faded canvas
my pen grew still
I faded back to grey
looking forward to the dinner tray
I hoped its wagyu beef steak today
another pipe dream, they say
they...
