But a loophole of a publication and a website link written on paper
Given in the night hour before valentines day of a crush that admittance could alienate a friendship .

Isn't it (Not) Romantic?
i am a woman
and I don't like the word 'romantic'
sorry Hallmark
sure, i like some things
that are 'romantic'
the color pink (light pink, silvery pink)
lace
beaches
holding hands
kisses
massages
love
but i dislike the fundamentalism
of the word 'romantic'
with its mandated Valentines Days
pre-conceived notions
expectations
disappointment
budget-breaking engagement rings
bridezillas ("my special day is ruined!")
and many 'shoulds'
i once happily shared...
and I don't like the word 'romantic'

“That is a funny way of putting it. But I don’t mind.”
“Very nice. Are there any perks to the usual Barista girl services here?”
“I can’t imagine what you mean. Actually, I can but prefer not to.”
“Well let me jog your imagination. Would you be so kind as to leave a lipstick print on my cup? I will compensate you with a generous tip.”
“Not sure I feel comfortable...

BEAUTIFUL TEARS THIS NIGHT
I know you have a crush on me...
I could always see
the way you would tickle me crazily
The way you listened as you stared attentively
The way you kept waiting patiently
Times I needed help with my things so heavy
You made sure my arms were left freely
When I cried from some ludicrous fight
You smiled and said Beautiful tears this night...
Frankly, that made me smile very bright...

they're all with wings that wow.
Kids who can't write their names,
they all ignore them now.
Couples out on the streets,
with face that beats the sun in glowing,
blowing,
away,

behind,

in each and every single person walking
