It’s a bit dramatic, innit?
Could it be twin flame
Diagnosis: insane
I’m unfit for this game
Mediocre chair
Floor laid in shorn off hair
I left a candle there
Eyes stare into mirrors
Judging his reflection
Swallowing the darkness inside
Rising for the masses
Kneeling upon ovation
But who catches the tears that he cries?
My darkened skies hold lullabies
Sung from a tongue that isn’t mine
It’s a tragedy, but I’ll survive
Diagnosis: insane

Sunflowers
Take me back to a place where I thought
only good things grew like sunflowers
bursting with colour and hope.
Positivity and light looking to crack out
the happiness from their roots to their
petals of vibrancy all yellow and mellow.
For no reason coz that felt like it.
Life in its purest form.
All it took was raindrops and the sun
and some storms that they weathered still
standing tall . They didn't make anyone
feel less or more. They just grew despite it all .
only good things grew like sunflowers
bursting with colour and hope.

Returning on a jet plane...
(Paul Harvey used to give "...the rest of the story" on the radio. The same radio played songs that gave us a glimpse into song character's lives but are never revisited! Even worse when the singer dies! I hated that! One of the songs I always felt needed an ending was...John Denver's: "Leaving on a jet plane." So, I present...Returning on a jet plane. Dedicated to the late John Denver.

pirating a heart
a brazen delicate lingering effect
energized raison d'etre
the cabals internal
know not old or new
in many years i am to be
the chosen raring few
looking into deep water
the island feels afloat
in search of crystal harbors
upon a slender boat
seeking snaking hungry fish
at last we shout 'land ho!'
buried treasure now or never
don't dare dispute life's flow
and though we now suntan on sand
in frozen hourglass
two ships: in day and in night
do meet and come to pass
energized raison d'etre

She Walks In Silence
She walks in silence, like a lapping wave
drowned in chastity and flooded with rave
holding dear and tight her very beauties
denying all her gems and rubies.
Her powers disabled under the spell
the flame in wouldn’t break out of its shell.
Tempted to trace a humming call of fate
allured but reluctant to take the bait.
The strings of her heart lost their pitch and tone
the clutches of mind hurting to the bone.
Untraceable are the paths to no end
unable to soul unself and ascend.
She walks in silence, like a gliding breeze ...

Tangled in the chaos that was my mind
Dark clouds overhead stole my shine

Still i am a constant faithful
To the river, forest and mountain
To the route i ever take,
Winding pathways, daily trodden

Though my love's Gone
Though my lover's gone
When these frames are but dust or ash in the wind,
Our love will keep working right to the end.
Our love was everything,
An unseen force
Holding our universe together.
In our love we were stronger than the tide
Fear had no hold with you by my side
