Metamorph
In an ocean stretched across time
The mouth of the void stirs, hungers
I will not waver, fail the climb
I walk the path where strength lingers
Misfortune attacks my steel breast
I ache for the sting of sorrow
Yet I go on in this soul-theft
Reach for rule beyond tomorrow
Terror is a shroud worn out, tired
I yearn for illustrious touch
The kiss of knowledge warm, sired
Waves to aid me along this crutch
This oath bites, burns and leaves it's mark
Leaving me bare, wanting for life as such.
The mouth of the void stirs, hungers
I will not waver, fail the climb
I walk the path where strength lingers
Misfortune attacks my steel breast
I ache for the sting of sorrow
Yet I go on in this soul-theft
Reach for rule beyond tomorrow
Terror is a shroud worn out, tired
I yearn for illustrious touch
The kiss of knowledge warm, sired
Waves to aid me along this crutch
This oath bites, burns and leaves it's mark
Leaving me bare, wanting for life as such.

Trespass
I am a limb torn burden
He who lapped the lips of fragility
On lilac hills uncertain
From streams embrace, blended eternity
Anoint me a new organ
Another quick dive into the riverbank
Substitute the foul warden
Ancient he drowns; reemerges true, blank
He slithers, struggles for warmth
Whispers words, a voice deadly in the night
Swarming the light like a moth
Unholy he aims to cure sinful blight
Carries a sigil across his chest
In hopes armor he seeks his final rest.
He who lapped the lips of fragility

From streams embrace, blended eternity
Anoint me a new organ

Substitute the foul warden

All Grown Up
The calendar says I am older
The bills say I'm on my own
The children call me "ma'am"
And the old women say "my, how you've grown!"
I feel myself walking in no one's footsteps,
Yet the shoes are still too big to fill.
I've fought, and I've fought, and I've fought,
And now my bravado has brought me to a standstill.
Going through the motions
Has left me in a world of daydreams
Lala land is nice this time of year
Away from the agony of what this life means.
I've watched my childhood ambitions...
The bills say I'm on my own
The children call me "ma'am"
And the old women say "my, how you've grown!"
I feel myself walking in no one's footsteps,

Checked Out
My mind is a scattered heap of wadded notes
Tossed aside and torn under mindless footsteps.
I cannot find words for all that is trapped inside.
Tossed aside and torn under mindless footsteps.
I cannot find words for all that is trapped inside.

Fading into the shadows
There will come a moment in our lives that we can find ourselves, in a place that has the ability to step in your own mind. THOUGHTS and insight as it will affect you in ways, that grabs at your own thoughts and reaching, into your own subconsciousness of which there is nothing, there to see nor feel but the feel of darkness lingering in the shadows of the dark. 🌑 Yet you start to feel that you are going deeper than deep, into fading into the deepness of the shadows of the darkness. THAT it seems that there is no escaping, into deepness of the heart and spiritual soul, with it's...

Shifter
The devil's thorn caught on my sleeve
Chilled to my core, stomach in knots
Blank diamonds usurp, surround me
Stole away someplace I forgot
Shapeshift endless, torn invalid
Rip thy curtain of seeds thy sown
Harbors malice, sunsets acrid
Lift the veil to dark worlds unknown
Time to rebuild the damage done
Once upon the after of more
Beneath indomitable night
Behind the old coyotes door
A sea serpent seethes bitter center stage
Restless rat seeking refuge from its cage.
Chilled to my core, stomach in knots
Blank diamonds usurp, surround me
Stole away someplace I forgot

A Reflection
Mirrors will show you what you want to see
Creating your wildest fantasies
They'll make you laugh, they'll make you cry
They'll drive your fears, control your mind
Find the way out, don't stop, keep trying
A realm of crooked mirrors is it truth or is it lying?
The white turns black and black turns white
You can't distinguish wrong from right
Truth is turned from inside out
You're hypnotized, you have nothing but doubt
Your soul is now distorted, depraved
Mirrors have made you their faithful slave
Creating your wildest fantasies
They'll make you laugh, they'll make you cry
They'll drive your fears, control your mind
Find the way out, don't stop, keep trying
A realm of crooked mirrors is it truth or is it lying?
The white turns black and black turns white
You can't distinguish wrong from right
Truth is turned from inside out
You're hypnotized, you have nothing but doubt
Your soul is now distorted, depraved

saga of transformation (pt.2)
seven long years have such haggard feet tread hostile, uneven ground.

Puppies
I laugh when they call me intense,
As if they know the depths
I have to give.
Only dialed in at a mere two percent,
Purring like a cat, I breathe him in,
allorubbing, weaving, through his skin.
He's intoxicated, caught in my
sway— Not many men have the
strength to say no.
I grab his card,
swipe, swipe, swipe,
Do you want me?
I ask, breath heavy, And in his eyes,
I see the hearts glow.
What I bring is more than
Cupid’s bow, A gift unwrapped,
a present aglow.
Some call it...
As if they know the depths
I have to give.
Only dialed in at a mere two percent,
Purring like a cat, I breathe him in,

Faces
All those cries for help.
And I was surrounded by happy faces, sad faces, empty faces...
And then There was no one.
And then different faces.
Hopeful faces
Distant faces
Lost faces
I chose my own face
I broke the mirror later
Alone and not worried.
Worried when not alone.
Empathy entered my heart and took my soul.
I care.
About happy faces, hopeful faces, lost faces.
So i wrote some letters and shaped them like poems
They couldnt help like I designed.
So I chose no faces.
Numbers not names.
They live...

The Huastec People
I see you there by the water's
edge, dear great-great-
great-great-grandmother.
Please, tell me—why have
I been sent back?
Tears rise in me, but I
fear punishment, like Sisyphus,
doomed to forever push this stone.
I no longer have the
strength for it.
So I speak to the trees,
Listen to the grass swaying
in the wind, breathe in the scent
of Mother Earth. Do you not
hear her struggle to breathe?
I read of how humans hunted the
dodo to extinction,
smashing the skulls of the
last two...
