Honesty
Sometimes
Isn’t just the harshness
Of a cold shower
The silence
On the other end
Of the phone
The emptiness
When they leave
Or the piercing
Of the blade
As you slice it
Through your heart
It’s the gentleness
Of the summer breeze
The calmness
Of a rippling pond
The protection
Of a weeping willow
The vastness
Of the Milky Way
The hand extended
I’ve lived too long
Choosing the former
Because I thought
I could do this on my own
Its time

Masterpiece
Recreating the buzz of my past
However brief that might of been
Scattered puzzle pieces remain
From some long forgotten song
Sometimes I hear it in a memory
Trying to catch important details
Every time it seems within reach
Before the light starts creeping in
Slipping into a vivid daydream
Digging through flavored nostalgia
I hear the rift but not the snare
Trapped inside this perpetual loop
Aroused by mental masturbation
Wanting to unlock this inner mystery
Retracing every single movement

Self
As so many here I have been on a journey.
A journey to learn and improve my style of writing
The problem is I am starting to lose Fia.
That is not acceptable.
So, I was asked who I am
I AM FIA
I am raw when I want to be
I am sweet when I want to be
I can be an annoyance at times, but I catch myself and pull back
I am a natural encourager/ You need that push I will push soft or you need it hard well I do that too
I am not all dark
I am not all light
I swirl in the grey
If I claim you as a friend, then you...

Make a change
If the time doesn't arrive when I'm alone,
and it seems I don't have the one to call my own
Don't feel that you should journey, to change my side around,
when it is that I'm higher than I'm down
If the sky trips through the dawn my way of black,
and it seems that I have no way of turning back
The way that I am facing is not going unbound,
when it is that I'm higher than I'm down
I'm no friend to a place of what I am,
when people say that I am not just what I can
They just don't understand me, I am the way I am found, ...
and it seems I don't have the one to call my own
Don't feel that you should journey, to change my side around,
when it is that I'm higher than I'm down
If the sky trips through the dawn my way of black,

THIS WORLD, HAS BECOME COLD
Here I am sitting here beside a warm fire watching the world, as it changes before my own eyes. YET it seems to become even more and more, aggressive with the passing of time. AS it gets colder as the days go by through the senseless, process of the motions of corruption and murder, leaving behind in it's wake of the dead bodies of memories, of yesterday of those who have gone goodbye. For sure I wonder will we survive, from the deepness of the raw and uncut actions. Just acts of betrayal from the government of UNTRUTH, that came with more lies and false promises. For will we have a better...

Warrior II
My father once told me
as Mr. Roger's mother
told him:
“Look for the helpers"
in any atrocity.
“It keeps the world sane”
he continued,
"to know good people
risk their lives
for other humans."
My life and social feeds
were once filled
with a relentless search
for the holy grail of justice
amid political riots and shame.
"I am hurt, but I am not slaine;
I'le lay mee downe and bleed a-while,
And then I'le rise and fight againe."
was a battle cry...

Being Human
Have good intentions
and be truthful to yourself
You are only answerable to
Yourself and the
Divine...
That's what matters
and not what others
judge about you
Rest of the world can go
and fuck themselves!
and be truthful to yourself
You are only answerable to
Yourself and the
Divine...
That's what matters
and not what others
judge about you
Rest of the world can go

Explosion Clouds
Looking at the explosion clouds.
There is a complete void of sound.
The September trees
are diminishing green,
in their lazy lean.
We are not just alive,
to satisfy hungers.
To examine bruised blunders.
Nature satisfies us too.
Bombs of peace in a sky cornflower blue.
There is a complete void of sound.
The September trees
are diminishing green,
in their lazy lean.
We are not just alive,

To examine bruised blunders.
Nature satisfies us too.
Bombs of peace in a sky cornflower blue.

Shadows In The Dark
Darkened winter sky
Shadows in the night
There's cracks on the window pane
but they're not all dry
Tears I've cried alone,
shape this winter's moan
smeared across the cry
of this shapeless groan
Ashes at my feet
Just the past I see,
fading like the wind,
gone, but never free.
Fading like the wind,
gone but never still
The weight of what I’ve lost,
bends against my will.
Cold breath on the glass
whispers from the past,
each moment that I knew
now drifts...

LAUGHING AT MYSELF
ME!
Every day I pause
to visit my comedy club
where I laugh at myself
out of honest reflection.
There are a lot of things
I laugh at, mostly the
dumb things I say and
the things I forget to say.
My favorite laugh comes
when I forget where
I left my keys or not
realizing I didn't set my alarm.
Then there's telling
the same person the same
story over and over not
seeing their boredom.
I don't think I'll share
the sexual laughs I
have at myself, it'll
be a tell-all...

The Woman You See
Ever the happy-go-lucky child
Idyllic upbringing into womanhood
Strong and self assured
Or
The façade of such a person
Checking off each passing day
Akin to the doomed Iphigenia
With no
fairy godmother
to
rescue

SHOWER FANTASY
The sun dawns on a perfect day -
when my flat neighbours are away.
No need to draw the shower screen -
none here who might call me obscene,
when only viewer will be God,
who created the human bod.
I can leave the window open
on my bathroom as I wetten
my upright, naked, whole body,
feeling the cool breeze touching me
same time as hot water pours down
on my head haired greying brown,
my shoulders, torso, legs and butt,
as eyes take in the floral glut
in which my garden's coming out,
creation's...
