My old poetry
In the depths of my old poetry,
I find a tinge of melancholy,
Lines filled with pain, sorrow, and ire,
Echoes of my struggles, my desires.
Reflecting on the decades gone by,
Contemplating life's parade passing by,
Faces fading, wandering and lost,
Decisions shaping who I am at any cost.
Voices whispering within my mind,
Some laughter, some tears, intertwined,
...

Plz listen to the end to get the full metaphorical meaning behind this poem.
Poetry,
how can poetry be quantified
when anyone who writes,
when read, means something different
to someone, somewhere, everywhere…

the car buisness
Automobile industry
At the seaside, the water signaled many colors
pale sober gin, dark hue, then bottle green and pink like a nursery rhyme
no one took notice the sea was warning of a disaster.
It began in the late afternoon when the sun felt tired but hesitated to sink beyond the horizon
So much more to see, and the night lasted until six in the morning.
The cars by the seaside started all at once and
headed towards the bay and into the sea
the bottom of the bay was smooth, and many cars were able to drive far before they drowned, but the...

The Cow Cat (three letter words)
But how can you?
Pen the ode
Yes how?
Not now
The red cow
Moo, and moo
One! not two
Oaf!
Now set
One cow
New mew met
The sun
Was hot
And not
The cat
But out the cat ran
For sun tan
Fur now hot
Icy not
And cow moo
And cat mew
The cow cat
Two sat
Now one
Odd pet
Say you too
Moo mew
Not new
But now old
For one eon

the parrot
The Parrot
The bird in the cage has featherless wings folded
to the naked body like squeaking scissors
I'm 89 today let, me out of this bloody cage!
Its owner is hard of hearing, is the widow of a war
veteran, I think the First World War
She tells everyone she meets, 8 million horses and
12 million donkeys were killed on the battlefield and no one
took notice
Humanity only thought of their suffering and were
impervious to animals' feelings, more, a wounded animal was eyed as a potential meal by hungry soldiers
Dragged from a green...

The Perfect Poem
Ah, the perfect poem.
Does it occur when you are sufficiently stoned?
Or when the agony begins to bloat?
Or when in cherry blood, joy floats?
Lies eloquently disguise truths.
Truth promenades as lies.
Poetic words speak to the roots that keep us alive.
Should it provoke intricate questions of the soul?
As landmines of resonance fill our holes.

Wow
The weight of my pulse is heavily palpable
but even more so, the terror that I continue to breathe in the same air as a lunatic while plotting his murder with every single breath I take …
What’s more striking still— is, I’m so pathetic,
I will never make him leave, he has to be the one to go—Either by choice or death
I hate myself…

Update: The Witch Patch
The completed witch patch is under extreme edit to get ready to publish, it may not seem like it but i am working hard to continue the editing process on my own.
Hello to my readers ☺️
So after re-reading The Witch Patch now that it’s done. I have decided to change a few names in the story and add a few unknown details about each character. Then I will delete whats posted and repost each page in order by two’s each day, once the editing process is complete.

Presto
see the tables floating
no strings attached...
like a mannequin..presto
vanishing before your eyes
spectral locomotive rushing
through my vocal mind...
silver-blue...frozen in silence
standing outside in the cold
presto...I radiate more heat
than light.
I'm not one who believes in magic
sometimes I have second sight.
heard the thunder behind her eyes
with a wave of my magic wand
we'll disappear...
yes I've seen the candles floating ...
no strings attached...

My Opinion
Americans are more concerned
about what people think
rather than being concerned
about what Americans do
or don’t do…

Deeper shades of read
each word becomes home
proven sanctuary
moored upon warmth that is you
call out to me— my other half
I'm listening
searching
where meeting between the lines
is bold discovery
that heartily welcome
arcs of pure incendiary imagination
exposing mind, body and soul
feel deep, in bold triumphant spirit
revel amongst pleasurable panacea
riding out as waves, crashing
marvel each page's turn
across a captivated yearn
carving...
