Another stupid poem
I miss you
I wish you never left me
Sadness follows me
A new year, with the same old sorrows
Screw this!
I'm too old for this shit
My feelings and this poem were pathetic
I'm gonna blast some Deicide, cook some burgers and later on watch some Stallone, Schwarzenegger or Lundgren films
By tomorrow morning, she'll be a distant memory.

In an opinion as high as I to you.

As much as I do.
Then why is it so hard to accept
And push through?

Half full, half empty
My car rolls up
On a snow slick driveway.
The curtains are drawn,
And the wind is deadly.
Music blasts from my speakers,
And I turn them up louder.
My hand shifts the car into park,
And flicks the headlights off.
And yet my feet are frozen.
The cold bites through my socks,
And pricks my fingertips.
I pull the key out of the ignition,
And sit as my music plays.
I know the song will end abruptly,
Somewhere in the middle.
I wait.
The song stops.
And now I am...

between us.
I used to feel sad.
