A mom's despair
I have a child who tried to take his life a couple of years back
There is no larger pain for a mother to know that her son wants to leave this world.
It breaks my heart to know he still thinks about it.
It pains me when he rejects my help or anyone elses for that matter.
He had a wonderful childhood, loving parents and grandparents.
In his younger years, he was such a vibrant and happy kid. I think it all changed when he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 5 years old.
He refuses to aknowledge that this disease affects his attitude and...

The Honeyed Quest in haiku
Whispers on the breeze
a meadow’s heart starts fading,
nectar crown grows dim.
Golden fields tremble,
petals bow to coming drought,
bees hum tales of fear.
Small Melis takes flight,
a spark against looming dusk,
her heart pure as light.
Through the grand forest’s shade,
ants hoard crystals sharp as glass
she gifts royal gold.
Sap glows soft and sweet,
they share a feast, unity
woven in their dance.
The lilies’ mirror,
rippling fears in darkened waves
“Small, yet I am strong.” ...

Another Day On The Wall
The fly flits about seeking solace
The moth sits waiting on the wall
The lady bug buzzes in her own way
The Spider weaves his web to devour them all
The fly says to the lady bug
Shall we take this time to dance?
The lady bug stoutly refuses
The moth leaps into the expanse
The fly seems suspicious when
The stink bug arrives strutting
The moth flies towards faux flame
The spider needs a bigger web
The lady bug relents
The Fly is delighted
The spider weaves and weaves
The moth swerves to wall ... thud ...
