A WILTING ROSE
I’ve never come to understand your rage
But, it seems to me you’re trapped in a cage
We all suffered the penalties under the same roof
We all bear our own scars that show the proof.
Some scars heal with the passing of time
But, yours remain in its original prime
Bitter and cold, you shut the world out
Every time you speak, you only shout
You built a wall and shut yourself in
Reasoning with you, no one can win.
I understand people build walls as a form of defense
But you are twenty-four hours in strict offense. ...

how whales fly
if i were
to have
a superpower
it’d be slow-

for all
the times

A cascade of pills
A mountain of carbs
Just to bury my ills

A Drip Into My Wounded Mind
Billy always gets me in the feels
Melancholia-land is as vibrant as ever
I truly wish I was alone in here ... cause
But I see many familiar faces in an out of this aether
Gather round I'll start a fire
Cook some food, conjure some wine
Sit 'round, commiserate and dine
What better way to pass the time
Pull up a rock
Let your defenses drop
Its tough defending against the universe
No one said it was ok to stop
Love laughter and peace
Those things that bring the quiet
The rest we all really need ...

Life?
The steady thrum of the electrically driven motor vibrated through the warm air
Thrum thrum thrum thrum thrum
The creaking of the ceiling from neighbors too heavy steps bending the old wood
The yelp of crows and seagulls gathered on the elevator shaft roof scrabbling over food bits
The rush of cars rolling by too fast speeding on their way to nowhere
The blistering sun warming the steel and asphalt jungles to sweltering un-bearability
The song of the Ice Cream truck wafting about as adults chase it through the mall parking lot
Workers rushing to buy...

From infant alighting a riding toy
To senior reminiscent of days of joy
The moment is good, but the next is precious
Live in it, but don't think on the next?
Stuck in a moment with you would help

Cancer stage 3
When you first learn you got it your heart stops you take a deep breath
Ask what type and stage. Then your mind goes blank thoughts of death run head as I did me, thinking of how my mom passed way from cancer the year 1991 age of 72.
Next one thinks how this going to effect your life when comes to having sex may be not all think that as I did.
When you start treatments loses your apatite every thing teats like tin feet and hands go numb your sex drive goes out the window best thing is when they say your cancer free after a few MRI’s.
