Love it or lump it
Fear is your death
Pain is your hate
War is always hell
Cursed,denied at the gate
Slaves looked as sinners
Priests dream of fucking whores
How much more can you accept
Doesn't matter if you lock your doors
Love brings on hurt,
A sick and twisted mind
Screams flow into a pool of blood
Faith is a joke, are you still blind?
Hope is a black hole
Gold might be on a nearby vine
The middle class is a dying dream
Start thinking of creative crimes
Pain is your hate
War is always hell
Cursed,denied at the gate
Slaves looked as sinners
Priests dream of fucking whores
How much more can you accept
Doesn't matter if you lock your doors
Love brings on hurt,

HoW YoU WaNt It ToDaY - RAP POETRY
I don’t really vibe with old tunes
Find them tired,
stuck inside closed room
Chasing shadows of a dying old moon
Tired of pretending they’re still shining
Stuck rewinding
That's how You Want it today
Gotta Hall pass , to walk past
recycled tunes that won't last
Old grooves, old moves
I’m creating somethin new,
sparks feel true,
You got me wrong if you think I'm fake it, rather struggle until I make it,
excuse me, while I take it
I’ll break it then make it new ...

Spring in my hood...
The first sign of spring in my hood...
is the old man with his guitar...
sitting near the doors of the market.
Guitar in his lap. Case open.
He strums a little and people toss cash
into his case. He lives in my building.
Around the corner is Mutt. He sits against
the building with a liquor bottle.
NYS law says open bottles must be in
paper bags. I haven't a clue why. He
asks for sandwich money and shows that
he already has booze - he just needs to eat.
Within a few hours, he has enough for
either Burger...

At Twenty-five (For Janis Ian)
Listening to Janis Ian's AT SEVENTEEN, I wondered
where the girl in the song would be and how she would feel just a few years later? So, I wrote...
AT TWENTY-FIVE (Dedicated to Janis Ian)
It was long ago and far away
the world was younger than today...
the popular girls put out...for free...at seventeen...
but never me!
Their Friday night's backseats in cars...
and getting sloshed in sleazy bars...
that was them! Not me! At seventeen.
At seventeen...I didn't know...
I had a lot of time to grow... ...

Missed Opportunity
She first saw him at the mall buying clothes.
He noticed her the first day of school.
She liked his hair and smile. He thought, she doesn't hang in cliques...cool! Smart and pretty!
They were both new students.
They had no classes together.
They passed sometimes in the hall.
Omg, his cologne! Dreamy!
I wish I had the nerve to talk to her!
Day, weeks, and months passed by...
they graduated. He heard she got married.
He married a girl from church.

We All Have Pride
5,000 years of wind and rain
So much time to dream
Equal faces, burning eyes
Our smiles have the same gleam
8,000 miles of rivers
Like a song within the mountain
Wherever you do come from
The elderly still dream of a fountain
Same blood, same race
The future is in our hand
Holding tight, while moving forward
Equal we shall stand
Same tears, same pain
We've been suffering for far too long
It will stay in our hearts forever
Fight till death, as our souls mourn
So much time to dream
Equal faces, burning eyes
Our smiles have the same gleam
8,000 miles of rivers

He worked hard for his money...
The fatigue shows in his eyes...
He worked 16 straight hours...again.
He loves her and provides for her.
She is his everything!
His breathing is labored at times.
He thinks he is coming down with a cold.
He can't miss work. Too many bills!
He can't afford to miss work!
The job is strenuous. He is not young.
He runs a temp. Again, the probable cold!
He is sweating and needs a cool drink.
There wasn't much time today to hydrate.
His body hurts. Overwork or age?
He swallows another handful of asprin.
Aspirin...

By The Side ...
A cry unheard beneath the sky
The world moves on, it does not see
I stop, though fear says pass him by
His hand outstretched, a muted sigh
His face a mask of frailty
A cry unheard beneath the sky
The shadows whisper, "Let him lie"
Yet something deeper beckons me
I stop, though fear says pass him by
The crowd ignores, their glances dry
Their steps a rhythm, cold and free
A cry unheard beneath the sky
I kneel, though fear says I might die
His wounds, a testament of plea
I stop,...

Look Out!
Fear is an addiction,
A debilitating disease!
Best that you control it
Or it will bring you to your knees
People become addicted to fear
Fear is a puppeteer!
Fear will minimize your goals
Fear will weigh down your soul
Fear's tongue is covered with shards of broken glass
It will lick your brain to shreds, lay you flat on your ass!

blue sun of an indifferent life
what good is the sky
to a falcon with one
wing
or Mozart to the deaf
let the flowers gather
into garlands of tears
what good is it to live
on the tenth floor if
you can't dangle from
the window ledge every now
and then to test your courage
the human heart holds
loss as close as a mother
cradling a new borne infant
the sun shines blue
the hours become wasted
like a serpent devouring it's
own tail ...

Drain
You say it again, “You don’t love me,”
etching it into existence, carving it into stone.
The wall I once thought I had torn down,
you build it anew, brick by brick,
fortifying the distance between us.
We were once so steady, so alive with laughter,
but the light in your eyes flickers and fades.
Should I stay? I wonder,
as you drain my spirit,
leaving me hollow, weary from the fight.
It feels as though you thrive on breaking me,
pulling strength from my exhaustion.
I beg you to stop—
I don’t want to fight anymore, ...
