Words being spoken
vows being broken
by those akin
to those writing each word
Leaving it unheard
by a longing ear
accompanying a tear
wept in pure joy
No longer coy

having felt the rain
wash away inked lines
Leaving only voice
to remind me of the choice
to join the celebration

Change is inevitable
It is one of the few things we are guaranteed in life
As times goes by and we grow old
So too must our minds
Accepting the rules of the universe
Transitions should not cause us despair
They can be foundations of inner strength
Teaching us to be flexible and adaptable
Giving us a more depth look into our existence
