Further along he walked softly alongside Mercury. Witches fun and dead innocents behind now. He mourned his failings, wishing he were better, always better. Filling his heart with guilt and pain he carried as the weight of oceans.
His legacy was long and troubled, tinged with greatness and tragedy. He carried almost all unknowingly, save for his line. Royal of royals he respected it and strove to better it in all ways, compassion being one. How can I encourage you?
To come close.
Be on even ground.
There’s no pressure.

Bird
To be a bird
The goal is to learn how to fly
Not to sink down quickly to the ground
As others walk on by
You must catch the wind
soar and swoops
Doing all these magnificent tricks
above the roofs
Life in any form
Is difficult to navigate
To adapt and change
To avoid unnecessary hate
I like being that bird
If only in my mind
See where the wind takes me
Wherever I go I'll be just fine.
The goal is to learn how to fly
Not to sink down quickly to the ground
As others walk on by
You must catch the wind

Blood
It is said that blood is the memory of our past
It holds in every cell of the ones that have long gone
When we cut and bleed out we lose part of our past
All on hardened floor that people stepped on
People

So instead of losing what little drops of the past
I find a pen and tip it in,
before it dries into a gelatinous mass
and write out,
I am sorry that this has happened.
I will not forget you; I carry you always within,
I see the rain is coming to wash you into oblivion
I am so sorry.
You see...

What will you have?
I just wanna drink.
That's why I'm asking you
Just give me something I don't want to think
That's not how this goes
Alright let me think for one moment
Take all the time you need
I guess I'll do this in installments
Give me a Daiquiri
Better yet make that a Manhattan
You went from soft and then hard
Are you sure you know what you're havin’?
OK give me a Penicillin
straight on ice
Better yet give me a Gin and tonic
with no ice
Make up your mind I don't have all night ...

Lazy Sunday
Let's have a lazy Sunday
if only for one day
let's lay down and just be
let me listen to you breathe
We can get up later and have a snack
We can joke around and I end up on your lap
you don't hold too tight
maybe later on deeper into the night
Let's talk about the dreams we once had
Let's laugh about them as if we very bad
Let me whisper sweet nothings into your neck
and have you agree as you give me a Peck
I love having lazy Sundays with you
Synchronize hearts can only be true
We admitted something that...

The Grey of the Artic
The depth in the slate of natural rippling glass
Deceiving of its strength to hold
Inviting to tempt fate and step in
I see the weeping of the snow queen tears rests on your shoulders
Beautifully sad in her cold blessing of droplets that have dried leaving a white coat to last until she weeps again.

Liquid Words
Can you taste a word?
Is it sweet?
Like a ripe mango falling from a tree?
Does it fill the recesses of your mouth?
Leaving you with sensory memory.
Is it tangy?
Tickling and prickling down your throat,
Leaving a trail behind.
Is it Salty?
Making you crave,
the liquid of life.
In the driest of deserts.
Is it spicy?
Taking you on an exploration,
Of places, people, and things you can only dream of.
For me it is hot.
