Belief
I once told a shy girl it was safer to kiss in doorways, since it was a portal
No one could figure if we were coming or going and therefore invisible
She raised herself up on tip toes and kissed me right there surprising me
She said she wanted to be able to tell the difference ...

Brass Ring
You there on the carousel
never believing in the brass ring
I only wanted the best for you
and that just wasn't me
My angel since the second grade
so gentle and soft spoken
always chose the harshest men
that left you bruised and broken
It has been thirty years
since last I saw your face
that never really bothers me
my heart still holds your place
So as you spin around a world
never including me
I will always love you
sincerely, your brass ring
never believing in the brass ring
I only wanted the best for you
and that just wasn't me
My angel since the second grade
so gentle and soft spoken
always chose the harshest men
that left you bruised and broken
It has been thirty years
since last I saw your face
that never really bothers me
my heart still holds your place
So as you spin around a world
never including me
I will always love you
sincerely, your brass ring

SoulMate
As I walked passed my reflection,
Seen myself as one of those many dwelling in desperation and anxiety of discoveries,
Trapped by seashells, i tried to break free of what was holding me prison for long at last, probably me,
Walking on a land I barely understand,
wishing i could recover what was lost,
between two different worlds,
worried for there is no option for an end, thoughts of desolation draws me near the path called give up not yet,
even if tomorrow maybe , uncertain and doomed to perish,
and the heat of the sun burns and the waves of a...

A memory from 2022
Summer smiles
Warm winter wishes
My jacket was too thin.
With my trusteds by my side I float inches off the cloudlike ground.
A whisp of pleasantries.
Cold cript seals with candlelight glow; hills on fire.
This winding path leads by pedals and glory summertime dreams hopes and stories.
The pond lights up and my childlike wonder but you were there to notice.
My two friends talked as I shivered with emotion.
Quiet now, gently.
Let her down sweet.
The air of the night and the rain on the streets.
It was a warning.
Not everything...
