In Too Deep
Kursk(2018)
Too deep to go back
Down below the sea swimming with the
Fish I’ve never seen I must be in the deep
They look at us like we don’t belong here
But we’re in too deep to go back the
Pressure reading seems to be going super high
He reports they say the temp can rise a little bit
We’re in the missile bay surrounded by
Bombs that will blow up the Ocean
I say a prayer my buddy says I don’t believe in God
Temps rise a bomb goes off we torpedoed our own sub

Dead rabbits on the run
Fake patriots march on town
Bill the butcher cuts em down
A surgeon digging the flesh
A flank or a rump roast
Pick pocket with some curves and a smile
Lift your watch while you stare in her eyes
She gets away before you realize
Razor cuts through time blood on the blade
Don’t wipe it off stealing from my sleeping self
Dreams dance in heaven half remembered
St Michael send Satan into the fire
And the hate grows breathing
And seething

My fingers itch to write, not about the moon
is a balloon, the title of David Nivens book
if you remember, he was the first James Bond
I refuse to turn on the news, a big ship is
in trouble, setting to sea in stormy weather
on the coast of Norway to give amateur
sailors a thrill and upset stomachs
I have read the news in one of Britain's most
famous newspaper, Palestine wants NATO
to protect them, NATO says they can't because

we who loved America
We who loved America (second part)
I enjoyed America and remember touring
a Sunday outside Houston (Texas), met in a café
a group of openly armed, elderly men
they were courteous people one could meet
I understood guns have cultural meaning
in America, we in Europe don't understand
I remember a saying, "A country where the populace
is armed, people are polite."
I stayed on the ship longer than needed but had
to go home and get educated, I studied management
and later ran a restaurant
I was never at ease in my...

Easter
Soon,the white rabbit will appear.
And Easter will make it here.
Chocolates will stock up the shelves.
And will chase away the Christmas elves.
I'll dye my egg blue.
Pink,orange,red.
The weather is perfect today.
And I can't wait to celebrate with family all day.
So take my hand and let me say.
That maybe,on a sunny day.
We will chase the dark thoughts away.
We will all celebrate this special day.
Let every child have a new toy.
Let it be happiness for any girl or boy.
We will dye the first egg red. ...

House of Charades, Easter Sunday
Two by two,
all but three file in
Led
round the necks in the
footprints of their forefathers
and the convictions of
those men,
to an old tennessee brick church,
tullahoma.
inside–
a time capsule.
An uncanny, anachronistic testament to the
power,
control...
and from the back he appears:
the beginnings of a bowl cut
improperly sized suit vest,
with a garish
pink
shirt and
tie to
match the flowers
laid out
by the altar.
Features of a formerly...

WHAT IS EASTER FOR ME
Hi to all participating in my competition on WHAT IS EASTER FOR YOU?
To have all understand and why I believe the way I do is because I'm Catholic.
To understand Easter is to understand the beginning of it.
Starting on Ash Wednesday day
Why is Ash Wednesday before Easter?
In the Christian tradition, Ash Wednesday marks the start of the holy season of Lent, a time for reflection and repentance in preparation for the celebration of Easter. Christians from many denominations recognize the holy season for 40 days leading up to Easter. ...

After the Eggs & Baskets are Claimed
As dusk descends upon their glen
Reclining near a fire cozy & bright
The Easter bunnies settle in
With tasty chocolates & sweets
And best of all, favorite tales to tell
of the children on their streets
Joyfully discovering the tokens of love
Scattered by the rabbit pair.

The Teaching about Easter Is Falsehood
I will make this a short composition.
Easter means nothing at all to me.
I do not observe Easter traditions.
Do you know the root of Easter?
Easter is in fact a pagan celebration.
The Bible does not mention Easter.
Good Friday is not in the Scriptures.
Easter Sunday is not in the Bible,
Neither is Easter Monday in the bible.
Bunny rabbit is not linked to Jesus Christ,
Neither is Easter egg linked to him.
Who came up with such foolishness?
Easter means nothing at all to me.
I do not observe Easter traditions.

The Awakening of Easter
In spring’s embrace, where dawn’s light unfurls,
Hope whispers of renewal, a world re-pearled.
Easter beckons with a promise so grand,
A journey of rebirth across the land.
The Earth herself in splendor does wake,
Clad in life, for heaven’s sake.
Buds bloom forth with eager trust,
Rising from the winter’s dust.
In this season, tales old and new weave,
A dance of light, shadows relieve.
Balance restored, day equals night,
In Druidic rites, a sacred sight.
From winter’s silence, we step into song,
Under skies...

Ambrosia Emotion
Early in the morning,
Early in the morning,
I had the thought
of sweet ambrosia.
Like a daily psalm
found in the Café Poem.
Tacked to a wall
where there was much
discussion on my mother.
An Easter morning long forgotten
and all that was poured in it.
The thought disappears into my sinew,
my sinew opens with the sweet aroma.
The aroma keeps burrow deep in my bones.

Chocolate Bunnies
To me Easter is very similar to Thanksgiving. Lots of amazing food, desserts and family who I enjoy to be around. I am NOT a religious person at all. My immediate family aren't either. Just like Xmas, there is no true celebration in the deep meaning of what these holidays are about. It's more of a food orgy and welcoming family I don't see to often.
When I was a little kid, the house was decorated with plastic eggs, Easter bunnies, ornate, colorful, flowery decor's (purples, light greens, pink) for spring and other nick-knacks. My mother would try & encourage my...
