Insomnia...greatest feeling of dread EVER, I hate it! It's only been one night in my life I can remember but I remember it so well, where I never fell asleep at all the entire night, I just lay awake. This poem perfectly conveys that frustration, nice writing as always Tommie. Next time though, do what I do: always have a bottle of wine or hard liquor on hand, or rub one out...or both! ;)

That was me on this certain night...just laying there!Mad because I couldn't sleep but I'll be damned if I was getting up out of my bed!
I love wine and some liquor...and rubbing one out might have helped me but I was too angry to think of it! ;)

That's true, you'd have to get out of bed; I have to get out for both. Sometimes it's worth it though! One or two straight shots of vodka on an empty stomach usually does the trick for me! The worst part of insomnia is that the more you think about how you can't sleep, the harder it is to fall asleep!
