this hollow skull  
of not forgetting  
still not gone  
alone in this space  
this lonesome place  
again in sadness  
letting go  
beyond this dark  
my empty heart  
cries out in vain  
oh restless song  
of my soul  
you come and go  
in whisperings of  
this haunted wind  
still passing through  
these silent rooms

back into this  
endless void  
this cold  sad hole  
of ego s
stubborn  
clinging on  
this hollow skull  
of not forgetting s  
still lingering  
wrestless ghost  
who so clearly  
seems  
still not quite  
nearly done  
nor gone  
from here
within me
