Love
Blinking past the tears,
Ignoring the already wet trails.
This was the end.
Felt as if the shadows carried sinister smiles,
And their clawed fingers tore into my sides.
Dragging me away; dragging me down.
Fell in love with your dimples.
Yet the further I end up,
The more you show deception.
Loved the way you shied away,
But now I can't even get you to say hello.
Fell for danger.
But my tears and bloody wounds,
Show the standing, breathing girl.
I will survive; I can survive.
It's a competition,
Almost like reality and daydreaming.
A constant fight for the upper-hand.
