Kleidoscope

Driving east down University
I can't help but inhale deeply,
for the fall's colors
swiftly overtake me.
Like the sweet wonderment
of a kleidoscope
indescribable and fanciful
mixed arrays of assortment
illuminating every tree,
every limb blushing against the next.
Varied hues flirting in the wind
I find myself in awe
whole body captivated
by this sight so near,wondering
if within these plush houses
for the upscale and affluent
do they gaze out their windows too?
Do they inhale the color
spectrum, the same way I do?
