In Visible Light

Hiding behind a mask of broken dreams
She can't find her way back
She'll live in the shadows forever
Never to return to the Happiness she once had
Her soul, a hollowed out husk
Her mind, a place of horror.
All she wanted was to be alive
And yet, Her life went on without feeling
Her mind numbed by the harshness of reality
Her heart bathed in the fact that she will never again be whole
Her soul aching for something more than emptiness
Her hearts shattered pieces lie broken time and time again
She would cry out
trying to find some shread of companionship
And all that answered her plea
were loneliness
