My ex has been calling me all night long
Saying he’s sorry, blowing up my phone
Confessing he made the mistake of his life
Now he is ready to make me his wife
He says he appreciates all I represented He regrets quality time, how we never spent it
And the women he meets, just can’t compare
He never realized just how much he cares
And I’m the sweetest woman
He has met so far
He went on and on
Saying “blah” “blah” “blah”
I guess now he is ready to do all he can
Except he’s too late
I HAVE A NEW MAN!

Oh yeah, love this! Too many realize what they have too late..and this is what they should expect..been there and done that. I like the way you put this, nice form, structure, and flow. I like that the lines are simple but weave together to tell a great story. Well penned
