FACT
I don't believe it.
It doesn't make sense.
To fall OUT of love,
end it all in regret.
The fact is quite brutal.
I know that it's true.
It's hard to accept,
They just never loved you.

In its concise, precise presentation, your poem is,so powerful in its message!
But, when I read your poem, i seem to be able to interpret its meaning in slightly two different ways--which I find intriguing. In line 7, did you intentionally mean to use the word 'except', as opposed to 'accept'? If i read your poem and exchange a c c e p t for e x c e p t, well,then, the timeless message is just this: relationship's end due to love not mutually shared.
However, if you were to edit this line--replacing 'to' with a comma-- then there is that bit of a creative spin...it's difficult to deal with all the confusion and sadness at a relationship's end, but ....either (a). do not hate yourself for too long,mutual love never existed, or (b). a rather "dark" connotation: why are you so bewildered? Others knew what you failed to realize.
( Anyhow,these are just my thoughts, and I gently offer them with the best of intentions.)
