Flicker

It's painful this thinking.
So many times our thoughts have
Met in mid air that their thinking
Of abandoning us and running off
Together.
Distance is an itch at best
Times just a scar to heal over
Having nothing will show no flicker of stress
Being in love will overcome obstacles
