the Plight of Being Responsible

I need a vacation
from being the  
responsible one
 
from taking care of
everything
and being held back
from the fun
 
doing things for
others
and getting nothing
in return
 
it's making my blood boil
and my inner
flesh burn
 
i'm not really sure
how i got this role
of being the one who does  
everything
it's just eating away
at my soul  
 
i'm ready for
someone, anyone to
realize the plight i'm in
and free me from
their obligations
so i can delve in a bit of sin
 
it must be nice
that i can let them live
this way
but i need a vacation
that's all i gotta say!!
