Wasting away

 You don't notice her
But someday you will
When she isn't there anymore
Her desk empty and neglected
She sits in the back of the class
An oversized hoddie and sweat pants hang loosely over her delicate frame
Even though it's 65 degrees out
She's always cold
The thin hairs growing all over her body do little to keep her warm
The perpetual coldness makes her very prominate bones hurt
Shes silently at war with herself
Everyone moment
Of everyday
It's a war she may not win
Win or lose
She doesn't care
As long as she's thin
Thin equals beauty
This is what Her peers has made her believe
Those words on the playground
all those years ago
They finally got to her
twisted her mind in an unnatural way
Similar to that of a broken neck
Now shes wasting away,
she's disappearing right in front of our eyes
