Alice

The looking glass is broken and has cut poor little Alice's face in two, her blood trickles in the cracks and comes out the other side of reality that stops me dead in my tracks.

Her beauty was like no other and she abused the thoughts of so. She thought that if I died but still stayed alive, I may wonder the streets that lead to doors with many colors that hide many monsters.

As if time just wasn't enough, Alice went mad and became a wolf terrorized all of wonderland. Painting it in crimson on a white canvas made of snow.

With dirty claws that tear off the skin of dolls who walk around like nothing ever goes wrong. Yellow teeth that rip our masks that we call faces and wear everyday.

I want to kill her for displaying me on stage when I hid behind the curtain to avoid the spotlight that shines on those of us who don't want it.

That night when Alice was asleep, I snuck into her room and peeled off the porcelain shell that kept ribs with heaving lungs, taking even breathes.

I carved my name and hateful words onto her bones while she screamed for help to the poeple that cheered me on.

Silly girl, you should've left me alone.
