Inflexion
a purple sky, so deep and wide
alone but wise, our lasting prize
i love our lives, every adult and child
the tame, the mild, the strong the wild
it floats away and i can't keep it
it's such a shame, one day i'll reap it
the endless sky
i'll find the secret
the day i die
androgynous cacti, stretches to the glass
feeds off the sun, and will till it lasts
identify, i want to paint my mind
with as many colours
and thoughts that i can find
until the chart leaves
us in the dark
there's always colour
somewhere else
in solitude, feel gratitude
the colours will return
they always do
just like you
i knew some truths
but not them all...
alone but wise, our lasting prize
i love our lives, every adult and child
the tame, the mild, the strong the wild
it floats away and i can't keep it
it's such a shame, one day i'll reap it
the endless sky
i'll find the secret
the day i die
androgynous cacti, stretches to the glass
feeds off the sun, and will till it lasts
identify, i want to paint my mind
with as many colours
and thoughts that i can find
until the chart leaves
us in the dark
there's always colour
somewhere else
in solitude, feel gratitude
the colours will return
they always do
just like you
i knew some truths
but not them all...
