Opinions Without Evidence

What your eyes can see may be deceived,
so as the mind may be.
The ocean is blue, yet black, yet clear.
Your mind sees not the truth, yet a lie.
When you look at me what do you see?
Some see a monster, a thief.
Some see a sex addict, a rapist.
Am I this as a virgin?
I am diffrent people, just ask around.
Shy, yet talkitive. Lazy, yet active.
A liar, yet honest.
Your judgements hurt not me, only the listeners.
For what I am, the who lives inside, dig to learn the me.

This poem echoes the proverb "never judge a book by its cover". I like the sentiment you have here, and it's a good viewpoint. One that we all need to remind ourselves of as human beings every now and then. Thank you for the read.
