The sun is so
garish
when it meets the eye
and ain't no sunshine
can warm the corpse's face
She's much too far in the Earth
to ever feel such supernatural heat
We can get drunk
off of her philosophical ideology
We can get high
off of her physical idiosyncrasy
But sober is foreign to the mind
when she's so sophomoric
that the world is soft and flexible
so infinite
everything is so tainted yet untarnished
vintage but youthful
that it always ends in rehab
and if she didn't have braces
she'd be a good cocaine addict.
