A Splendour of Chains
i want to thank you
for all of those ravishing nights,
embraced within the melancholy
of the lone autumn’s winter storm.
the chosen one, I am, to share
the lust of the chains and the love of the whip
broke and estranged looking for the one
who is more than the thorn in my side.
thank you for all of those
branding nights with your kiss and cuffs.
i think too much of the ‘I hope it doesn’t end’
rather than relish within your typed passion.
knowing that soon it will all repeat
needing you to know that I adore you and kneel at your feet.
there is nothing innocent about our lust
a kiss for each bruise as I worship your heat.

thanks kourtni.... the majority of my writing tends to be on the dark-side...sometimes a lighter version slips through the cracks.... not very often though....
