Shapeshifting dunes
Scorching aridness
Sunlight burning all in sight.
A pedestrian spectacle
All is quite unresponsive
Pretty much like Anubis's soulless army.
At night though
I was told it's the very opposite
It's just a rumour though.
Heard about dancing camels
Singing bedouin maidens
Something dear Meret would approve.
You won't find a yawning hippo here
Under the crimson moon

Even the stony Sphynx moves a paw
