Inprisoned
My feelings,
I write them down,
With paper and pen,
I write.
In the dark,
Hiding in the shadows,
Chained by fear,
I'm in denial,
When you see me,
And I see you,
I cry inside,
Thinking that the hum died,
The hum of fear.
I sink to my knees,
In silent prayer,
To whom,
I don't care,
Anyone who can save me,
Save me from my dreadful prison.
As my hero,
Draws near,
He raises his sword,
Above his head,
And strikes,
To my surprise,
I open my eyes,
To see,
A dawn of a new day.
I write them down,
With paper and pen,
I write.
In the dark,
Hiding in the shadows,
Chained by fear,
I'm in denial,
When you see me,
And I see you,
I cry inside,
Thinking that the hum died,
The hum of fear.
I sink to my knees,
In silent prayer,
To whom,
I don't care,
Anyone who can save me,
Save me from my dreadful prison.
As my hero,
Draws near,
He raises his sword,
Above his head,
And strikes,
To my surprise,
I open my eyes,
To see,
A dawn of a new day.
