It Was All Her

The judge, they say, is the easiest to pay
He holds a grudge against my mind astray
He commits to the beautiful sin and soaking rain
I stand in the noose, Fearing the truth
I was baptized in thoughts losing my fucking youth

The jury, they say, is the first to look away
They understand the truths plaguing my hands
They give the command to strike me from the stand
I’m left to rot in this strange land, Bitter sand and ruthless winds
The rope is coarse, I let the darkness take its course

I’m the executioner, they say, the fucker who pulled the lever
I say it’s all a big blur, Were we pure or plagued with this fever
I say “It was all her”, They laugh through the stars and the never
I’m a basket case, Completely fucking gone, I’m the responsible weaver
In a thrown race, Can’t you see I’m not that strong, I pray to be a believer
