Somewhere Crying

You thought I'll be somewhere crying
singing the Blues over you

I know you hate the feeling
watching me smiling with my girls
head held high, worries bouncing off
my thick curls, hips swaying in a mini

You thought I'll be somewhere crying
singing the Blues over you

You can't stand seeing me
happy and sassy
drinking and flirting
living it up, to the up beat
dancing with men all on my rump
humping and bumping, just plain funning

You thought I'll be somewhere crying
singing the Blues over you

Can't you feel it crawling
just under your skin
watching me and my new man
hand in hand
my eyes shining with pure delight
after he stole a kiss
right on Front street

You thought I'll be somewhere crying
singing the Blues over you

Jealousy, is that feeling that's come over you
that aching pain in your gut
knowing he's gain, what you gave away
rubes for nipples, the precious oils of my lips
that made this brother rich
but its the gold between my thighs
which makes him feel alive
and makes you truly envy

You thought I'll be somewhere crying
singing the Blues over you,
but Baby, ain't that you
