Actor

I am an actor,
Living in this world,
Caught in this cage of life,
Just a mortal soul.

There are other beings,
Some noble, some vile,
All with their agendas,
Hidden 'neath their smiles.

I am an actor,
Since when I was born,
Waiting for the perfect chance,
Just to once perform.

There are many in the line,
Fighting for a chance,
Hoping to make it one day,
Life must be enhanced.

All the characters,
Have dialogues to say,
Play their roles of life quite well,
Till their very last day.

I am an actor,
Time to just move on,
As the script further unfolds,
Now the plays begun.
