Lullaby
No reason to stay alive,
No reason to stay awake.
No reason to try,
No reason to stay away.
Everywhere there are the beasts,
Nowhere is any aid.
Everywhere are the bodies, resting in peace,
Nowhere is there a dry place to lay.
A cold chill runs through my spine,
As a dog whines and a wolf howls.
A dark wispy cloud declines,
As a full moon shines on a lone owl.
Its beak is holding a human bone,
The beast that is behind it hides.
Its eyes the full moon causes to glow,
The beast swallows him whole as he cries.
No reason to stay alive,
No reason to stay awake.
No reason to try,
No reason to stay away.
That's the final lullaby.
No reason to stay awake.
No reason to try,
No reason to stay away.
Everywhere there are the beasts,
Nowhere is any aid.
Everywhere are the bodies, resting in peace,
Nowhere is there a dry place to lay.
A cold chill runs through my spine,
As a dog whines and a wolf howls.
A dark wispy cloud declines,
As a full moon shines on a lone owl.
Its beak is holding a human bone,
The beast that is behind it hides.
Its eyes the full moon causes to glow,
The beast swallows him whole as he cries.
No reason to stay alive,
No reason to stay awake.
No reason to try,
No reason to stay away.
That's the final lullaby.
