Defenders Like Me
I don't dump my problems on people,
People dump their problems on me.
I am a pillar of strength,
Holding up friends and family.
But all this stress,
And people leaning on me.
Has got me broken down,
And feeling so freakin empty.
My body's strong,
Built to last.
But they keep coming,
Coming to me.
My world is heavy,
My back is aching,
My body shaking,
My knees breaking,
So i stop to think,
If the world would see.
If the didn't spew their hate,
There would be no need for defenders like me.
People dump their problems on me.
I am a pillar of strength,
Holding up friends and family.
But all this stress,
And people leaning on me.
Has got me broken down,
And feeling so freakin empty.
My body's strong,
Built to last.
But they keep coming,
Coming to me.
My world is heavy,
My back is aching,
My body shaking,
My knees breaking,
So i stop to think,
If the world would see.
If the didn't spew their hate,
There would be no need for defenders like me.
