It's a puzzle
Putting these pieces back together
So fragile and so careful not to hurt them
Slowly as i put these pieces together
I see a picture begin to form
There's a lack of color
A lack of hope
Missing pieces i search to find
To put back together what one was mine
To fix the broken heart of the one i love
Binding the fragments to heal him
I wish so much i could steal your pain
Your regret
Your hate
I wish i could protect your broken heart
Take back the bad moments and remove their stain
Replace them with pieces time
The times we stole for ourselves
Piece by piece i put together
Memories and moments we made
You always said it would be forever
And I'll always be there to pick you up

To be honest i wrote down how i felt when i was going through a hard time knowing i wanted to write about it and a year later i came back to it and thought it sounded good as it was and just posted it. I'm sure that makes it a little less impressive haha but thank you very much that's really encouraging :-)
