Faded Away

faded away as the darkness is rising , longing her kiss ,lips so tantalizing, the shadows of rejection for my imperfection as i stare into the water at my own dark reflection , pondering the past and why it went so fast ,wondering how i could've made it last , but there was no last not even a beginning just the laugh of the devil who never stops grinning , my body so faded, my soul has been traded, a knife plunged deep so cold and serrated just for chance of her wonderous gleam but there's a giant black wall ,my love is unseen , now i die on the shores of the dark ..spirits of old around a shadowy Ark, oh what i would give to take back that day but now i am dead i have faded away...
