My Hearts Beats, It Beats for Two

In our first conversations,
the breath of life filled me completely.
I looked at you, and you looked at me,
and I breathed for the first time.
It is so natural loving you completely,
for I have been loving you my entire life.
Though I did not know you yet,
I knew your image.
I saw you in my dreams.
It was that simple childhood thing,
where I kissed the girl and she kissed me.
But in reality that is really all it is about.
Its only about you, and its only about me,
the way we make each other feel,
and the deep desire to make one another happy.
Others try to complicate it,
try to define it in words and limericks,
but in the end it still remains simple.
I love you because you make me happy,
happier then anyone before or since.
You do this as naturally as a hug or a kiss.
Its is as easy as taking your first breath for two.
Its as easy as the way my heart beats for you.
