Torn Pages
I tried to describe the Lord
in all of His bounteousness -
But the page tore and I could write no more.
I tried to describe how the macrocosm
lies within the microcosm -
But the page tore and I could write no more.
I tried to describe God dancing and frolicking
in a kaleidoscope of forms -
But the page tore and I could write no more.
I tried to describe the sweetness of the inner music,
the unending song of the universe -
But the page tore and I could write no more.
I tried to describe how tender and sweet God's love can be
when it comes to you like a thief in the night -
But the page tore and I could write no more.
I tried to describe God's radiance in every atom of creation,
in leaves, insects, and in all creatures -
But the page tore and I could write no more.
in all of His bounteousness -
But the page tore and I could write no more.
I tried to describe how the macrocosm
lies within the microcosm -
But the page tore and I could write no more.
I tried to describe God dancing and frolicking
in a kaleidoscope of forms -
But the page tore and I could write no more.
I tried to describe the sweetness of the inner music,
